Welcome
to the Merced County Rescue Mission web site. As you will
see, we are a multi-faceted agency serving the needy,
homeless, and poor in spirit in Merced County. There is no
need for me to list our accomplishments as all we do is
through the love and direction of our Lord Jesus Christ. We
thank you for partnering with us in transforming lives as
well as saving souls.
We
believe in community – local and national - and are members
of the Greater Merced Chamber of Commerce, United way of
Merced County, Association of Gospel Rescue Missions, and
the Christian Stewardship Association. In this way, you are
assured that we hold ourselves to the highest standards of
financial and spiritual integrity. When you partner with us
you will know that we will be the very best stewards of the
resources that are at our disposal.
It
is with great pride that I report to you that some of the
most recent graduates of our New Life Transformation Program
are succeeding in their reentry to society-at-large.
We have graduates in the Building and Electrical trades,
going to accredited culinary schools, completing their
college educations, and going into full time ministry.
Because of each of you, we are serving over 6,000 meals a
month to those who hunger. So, again our thanks for all you
do!
